Join United for Waukesha Resiliency Center and WPS Reptiles for a mental health focused program featuring some scaly friends! Reptiles are successful on our planet by being resilient and adapting quickly to changes that threaten them in the environment. Reptiles can teach us ways to be resilient in the face of difficult situations and changes in our lives. We will explore reptile adaptation, defenses and how they can be metaphors for our own recovering from adversity compassion, empathy, and connection.
Reptiles and Resiliency: Wednesday, December 4, 2024, 5:30-6:30 pm – Families and children are encouraged to join. All youth must be accompanied by a primary caregiver. This therapeutic program is intended for children and families affected by the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy.
