Join the Reynolds School of Journalism for a conversation with journalist, author and New York Times contributor Kyle Spencer as she frames a discussion of the documentary Bad Faith: Christian Nationalism’s Unholy War on Democracy and discusses her work covering political extremism. Her dialogue will center on how fear and anger can distort political issues and threaten democracy. Spencer’s approach to reporting and writing about the far right and progressive activism will be discussed in the context of the role of journalism in society.
