We're going to make up for last week's event getting blown away from us.Light Up the Night, the weekend after Thanksgiving . By Beaufort standards it's a fairly new event, and the best part of it is the boat parade, which includes vessels ranging from paddle boards to major yachts all decorated in their Holiday best. They sail past the downtown docks. The parade runs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 6. Even if you have a formal dinner party to go to, you'll be able to do both with no rushing required.
To get in the appropriate mood, we'll meet for snacks and beverages (my treat) downtown at 4:30 p.m., and then just walk a short distance when we're ready.
