Repair Cafés are free meeting places, and they’re all about repairing things (together). At the Repair Café, you can fix your clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, etc.You’ll find expert volunteers, with repair skills in various areas. Visitors bring their broken items from home. In the Repair Café, they start repairing with the specialists. It’s an ongoing learning process.
If you have nothing to repair, you are still very welcome. You can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Or you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair.
The Locking Castle Church Repair Café collaborates with other cafes in the North Somerset area. Visit their Facebook group to find out more.
Our Repair Café is every first Saturday of the Month, 11am-1pm.
The café is entirely reliant on volunteers. These are the roles available.
