Sewing Repair Cafe: Stitch It, Don’t Ditch It!Join us for a FREE hands-on sewing pop-up celebrating the art of mending and making! Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or just curious, come explore the joy of machine and hand sewing in a welcoming, creative space.
What to expect:
- Friendly volunteers to guide you through basic repairs and alterations.
- Try your hand at sewing on a machine or stitching by hand.
- Share stories, swap tips, and be part of the slow fashion movement.
Registration:
- Registration will get you a preferred time before a volunteer. Walk-ins are welcome on the day. If you have to wait to be seen, there’ll be a comfy seat and a cup of tea available.
- Once you’ve registered, we’ll email you back to confirm and advise if we have any concerns about your item.
- We can’t guarantee a repair until we see it on the day, but we’ll do our best.
