🗑️Toss it away? No way!❌Lake Trail Community Education Society is hosting a free Repair Café and Clothing Swap at Lake Trail Community School on Saturday, November 15th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free Clothing Swap - bring clean, gently used clothing to add to the swap, or just come to take what you need! It’s free and open to all community members for the duration of the Repair Cafe.
A Repair Café is a free event for community members to connect and repair items together. Join us to save money, reduce waste, learn new skills, and enjoy goodies at the café.
Items to bring for repair:
• Clothing & textiles 🧵
• Small appliances & electronics (no phones or computers) 📻
• Bicycles 🚲
• Toys & stuffies 🧸
• Wooden items & tools 🔨
• Items that need gluing ♟️
There will be a tinker station & sewing crafts for kids! 📻🔨

** You can bring more than one item; volunteers will help fix them

LTCES Fall Community Garage Sale
Join us for the LTCES Fall Community Garage Sale, happening in the Lake Trail School gym on Saturday, November 15th, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, alongside our annual Repair Café and Clothing Swap! From sports equipment to records to art supplies, and everything in between, there will be all kinds of treasures to discover. It’s a perfect opportunity to clear out your clutter, find hidden gems, and connect with neighbours, all while supporting free programs and initiatives that strengthen our community!
Table Rentals:
$20 for adults
Free for youth (18 & under)

LTCES will also be selling items! If you would like to contribute items for LTCES to sell at the garage sale, please drop them off in good condition:
Friday, November 14th: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (outdoor side door of the gym)
Saturday, November 15th: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
** Please no super large or heavy items that would be difficult for our staff and volunteers to move if they do not sell :)
