Another chance to get a wide range of items fixed by our expert team including textiles, small electrical and electronic items, jewellry, small items of furniture, toys, garden tools and our ever-popular sharpening service. Or just pop in for a chat and to see how repairs are done. Booking recommended but not essential. There will be cake! Contact Tess [email protected] or 07976 310060 to book items in.We are always on the lookout for new volunteers to help with our Repair Cafes.
* General helpers. Check items in and out, greet attendees, serve refreshments and chat about how we can work together to tackle the climate emergency.
* Fixers. If you are skilled sewer, an electronic expert, a wonderful woodworker, a gleeful gluer, a crafty ceramicist or have other fixing skills we'd love to hear from you! We have insurance cover for fixing activities.
* First aiders. If you have an up to date first aid certificate and would be willing to be on stand by at the repair cafe in case of an accident, although hopefully you won't be needed.
