We throw away a lot of stuff, often because it's cheaper to replace rather than repair them or we just don't know how to fix it.That’s where Repair Cafés come in! Re.Use.Full is excited to announce a Repair Café in Overland Park Kansas on Saturday, July 20, 2024. This event is being sponsored by the City of Overland Park.
If you're someone who enjoys tinkering or problem-solving to get something working again, we're looking for volunteers! Please email Leslie Scott to learn more at [email protected].
If you have surplus tools, such as screwdrivers, hammers, clamps, pliers, wrenches, drills and soldering equipment, lying around taking up space, donate them to Re.Use.Full to use at upcoming Repair Cafés! Contact us to arrange for your donation.
There are now more than 2,500 Repair Cafés across the world, and we'll be hosting more of these free meeting places where you’ll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need to clothes, furniture, small appliances, computers, lamps, bicycles, jewelry and more you bring from home. You’ll also find people with a variety of repair skills to help out. Together with these volunteers, you can have your broken items repaired instead of needing to replace your broken items.
