The Repair Cafe is a great way to keep your belongings out of landfill. On Sunday 5 May they can help repair your electric appliances, general items and clothing repair.
Unfortunately they can't assist with woodwork repair that day as their carpenter is not available.
Mending is a way to keep our clothes out of landfill and lets you wear the pieces for longer, helping to address fashion waste.
Fast fashion ends up in landfills often and early and is one of the biggest contributors to carbon emissions, pollution, and waste.
Invest in your wardrobe and mend your clothes.
Bring your favourite item of clothing that you haven't worn for ages because it needs mending. No alterations on new items.
The event is run by volunteers who can hem, change zips (bring in the new zip), patch and repair.
Koha is welcome.

This repair cafe is run by the Chinese Conservation Education Trust and supported by the Albert-Eden Local Board.
