What is a rent party you ask, well, it’s an important part of dance history. Rent Parties are where you get your friends together to dance, and they pay what they can to help you make your rent. Everyone has a good time. And that’s where we're doing! It’s a house party, but at Lowe Mill Studio 2008. It’s fun and low pressure, we don't have an official lesson but we'll be happy to show you some steps. You can bring your own snacks to share, or not, same with drinks.
This is a community building event, yes, we dance but Friday Nights are for being together as a community. Being with our friends and doing the thing we love. Swing dance.
We'll have dj-ed music, unless we can find some musicians to jam which is likely to find in Lowe Mill.
