For the first time ever, these talented glassblowers will join forces during Thanksgiving weekend while offering free glassblowing demonstrations that promise to dazzle the public. Their free glassblowing demonstrations will be on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28th and 29th from 12 pm to 4 pm, and on Sunday, Nov. 30th from 10 am to 2 pm.
Ginsberg, head of the glass art studios and curriculum at the University of Texas at Arlington, has showcased his innovative work in prestigious museums across the globe. Crofford, founder of SiNaCa Studios in Fort Worth, is known for his community-driven approach to glass art.
An interdisciplinary artist, writer, educator and curator, Ginsberg blends history with innovation in his striking work. He holds degrees from both the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas at Arlington, where he now serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Glass Area. His works are part of elite collections, including the Museum Kunstpalast in Germany and The Frye Art Museum in Washington. He has exhibited at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Texas, and led workshops at prestigious venues like the Corning Museum of Glass and the Pilchuck Glass School.
Crofford’s journey began at UT Arlington, where he cultivated his passion for glass through a unique blend of architecture, theater and art. After spearheading the development of the university's 3D art program, he opened SiNaCa Studios in 2007, which has since become a hub of creativity and inspiration. His artwork often explores themes of balance and transformation, inviting viewers to connect with their communities through the beauty of glass.
