The Renovation Happy Hour, co-hosted by the East Row Historic Foundation and Westside Citizens’ Coalition, is set for April 10th, 6-8pm. The event gives attendees the chance to tour the property at 125 W 11th St., the former home of Sweet Tooth Confectionary shop, which is being rehabilitated by Woerner Company, a local Newport development company. There will be refreshments, you are welcome to bring something to share!The three-story building’s commercial space on the 1st floor will be renovated, and the 2nd and 3rd floors will be converted into several apartments. Sweet Tooth Candies had a long and venerated history in Newport, established in 1972.
