We are stoked to announce our next DJ is another resident of Reno, Arcium!
Founded on the intention to allow people to feel their lighthearted nature, Arcium (Ar-SEE-Um) weaves organic bass melodies with bouncy trap beats to get the people grooving and having fun. He fell in love with the bass scene in 2017 and with his passion for music, he caught inspiration to create mixes that offer an environment of dance and flow that would be palatable for all. Originally from Minnesota, now based in Reno, Nevada, Arcium has featured local sets at Dead Ringer Analog Bar, the Tea Lounge, Flux Movement Lab, South Lake Ecstatic Dance, and ByThePeople Gathering.

Though dancing has been a spiritual practice and celebration for as long as human memory can recall, Ecstatic Dance in its modern iteration is a fruit of the 60s, with its birthplace in California. This now global phenomenon is unique in that it is a sober, non-verbal dancefloor, allowing individuals to connect more deeply with themselves, and with others. The Ecstatic Dance DJs create a journey by pulling from a wide variety of music genres and tempos inviting the participants to explore movement as it naturally arises: there are no steps to follow but your own.
