I'm back, baby! It's been a really long time since I guided one of these ceremonies - almost 6 years to be exact - but my soul has been begging to come out of hibernation to help support a cause so near and dear to my heart - opening our Outpost Arasta. As we move into spring, it is a time of birth and rebirth, and we would love if you could help us birth this community youth project into the world! Join us for an evening of community, meditation, gentle movement, self reflection, and hopefully a little giving back! No experience necessary, all are welcome! Look forward to:
- guided meditation, gentle restorative yoga & journal & self reflection time led by Jodi Cronyn
- live musical soundscape by Scott Brunelle
- hands on yoga assists from Tina Marques & Ana Liz
- Reiki & Energy Healing from the lovely Deb Beverley and Meleah Silverthorn
- organic loose leaf tea
- social time before and after if desired
- raffle prizes
- silent auction
- donation station (all payment forms accepted except cheque)
- and more!
Doors open at 6:30pm and close at 10pm, so come hang out, heal, open your heart, & support an amazing cause that will boost our community locally and internationally.

A little about Outpost Arasta:
Outpost Arasta is a place where opportunities are created for youth who want to forge a different path, struggle in traditional environments and life paths, and have varying needs that make life more challenging. It is a place where the traditions, skills, and community of the past meet the innovation, imagination, and cooperation of the future. It’s a community movement where today’s youth can thrive, and step us all into the future. Our mission for Outpost Arasta is to create an international collective of young visionaries, supporting today’s youth in their full potential, innovations, mental health, and community needs. We believe in giving our young leaders and innovators the voice they deserve, the right to take up space, and the opportunity to make an impact on this world.
Outpost Arasta Features:
Business Start Up Fund: Funding pool available for youth to launch their businesses and creations
Co-Working & Creation Space: Co-Working and Creation Space onsite with computers, art supplies, and meeting rooms
In-Person & Online Shops: In-person shop onsite and online shop for youth to sell their creations and create financial freedom
Academia: Courses and resources available in the following topics: vision & ethics, business & systems, art & mindfulness, craft & history
Lossy’s Garden: Learning craftsmanship, food skills, and heritage from our community Elders. Providing community outreach and connection between our youth and elders. In memory of a wonderfully wise community leader and Grandmother to Jodi, who we lost recently.
Cafe & Event Space: Cafe & Event Space onsite to encourage community connection and safe space for youth and families to gather
Start up goals:
*complete non-profit status registration
*launch our Istanbul and London, Ontario cafes
*create our Business Start Up Fund to support youth business and creation endeavours
*open our co-working, creation spaces, and shops/show rooms in Istanbul and London, Ontario
*open our Academia online and in person
*help kick start two businesses created by our young leaders and innovators
*launch Lossy’s Garden
Expansion goals:
*launch more businesses created by our young leaders and innovators
*develop more local and international partnerships
*expand our academia with more property
*expand into other regions and countries
