Tyler Yorke , Managing Director – Technical Sales, Eneon-ES
Energy storage is pivotal in the transition to a clean energy future. Tyler has been fortunate to match his career with his passion for renewable energy while contributing to that transition. With a background in renewable energy engineering, he has previous experience in the solar sector before moving into the battery storage industry. Notably, Tyler led one of the first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Nova Scotia. Through this experience, he gained a profound understanding of the challenges associated with integrating new technologies into existing infrastructure. It became evident that successful project implementation hinges on innovation, technical expertise, and fostering relationships.
Tyler now heads up the technical sales team at Eneon-ES, a leading North American-based battery energy storage integrator. He supports in understanding clients' needs and tailoring flexible solutions for project-specific applications.
Tyler holds a diploma in Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology from the NSCC and a bachelor's degree in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering - Smart Technologies for Power Generation and Distribution from Carleton University. He is eager to continue building momentum and to push for positive change in the energy industry.
