What does this program do?
The USDA REAP program provides guaranteed loan fi nancing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems or to make energy effi ciency improvements. Eligible businesses apply to the USDA for these funding opportunities. The USDA REAP TAG program provides funding for additional services such as energy audits and technical reports needed to help eligible businesses submit complete applications for to the USDA for REAP funding.
Who can apply for USDA REAP?
- Small businesses in eligible rural areas
- Agricultural producers with at least 50% of gross income from agricultural operations
