In this presentation, neighbors will discuss bullying and behaviors within the school setting. Neighbors will explore education issues including what to do if a student is being bullied, school suspensions, school expulsions, and discipline of students with disabilities.
About the Instructor:
Adrienne J. “AJ” Johnson (she/her/hers) is an attorney and licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina. AJ graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. from North Carolina Central University and a J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. AJ grew up in Baltimore, Maryland is a Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens fan. She lives in Greer, South Carolina with her husband, children, and terrier-mix dog (Woody). AJ is the owner of Adrienne J. Johnson Law Firm, LLC and practices in the areas of family law, simple estate planning, education law, and disability rights. In addition to practicing law, she works with local community stakeholders to provide Know?Your-Rights information to individuals. When she is not cheering on the Orioles, the Ravens, the NCCU Eagles, and the Clemson Tigers, she enjoys everything Harry Potter, watching Bob’s Burgers and history documentaries, genealogy, and sharpening her skills in American Sign Language and Spanish.
