In partnership with Mercer University's MerServe group, we will be removing non-native invasive plant species (English ivy, privet, mimosa, Bradford pear, Chinese tallow, paper mulberry) from the Oak Ridge section of Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon. Dress for "W**d wrangling"! (Long pants, long sleeves, gloves, hat, boots) and bring a water bottle and any tools you have to cut or lop undesirable plants. Participants must be 12 years or older, participants under 18 must have an adult participating, and all participants must sign the GNPS waiver of liability before working.
