Remembrance Sunday is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. On this day, people across the nation pause to reflect about the sacrifices made by our brave Service people. We pay tribute to the vital roles played by the Armed Forces and the emergency services. We commemorate those who tragically lost their lives due to conflict or terrorism. This year’s remembrance will take place on Sunday 9th November 2025 at the Market Square. There will be a short parade and service, which is organised by Huntingdon Town Council in collaboration with RAF Wyton and the RAF Wyton Voluntary Area band.
There will be a wreath laying service at the Thinking Soldier statue, at 10:45am, followed by a parade along the High Street and St Mary’s Street.
An order of service will be available on the website 1 week prior to the event.
