The Town of Wasaga Beach presents the 2024 Remembrance Service on November 11th. The event will begin with a parade at 10:55 a.m., forming up at the OPP parking lot and marching along Glenwood Drive to the Cenotaph at the Municipal Administrative Office at 30 Lewis Street, where the Remembrance Service will be held.This year, we will also unveil the new 2024 Remembrance banners, honoring our local veterans, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach. Following the service, veterans, participants, and residents are warmly invited to enjoy refreshments at the Wasaga Beach Royal Canadian Legion.
To register or nominate a veteran for the Remembrance banners, please fill out the form by clicking this link: https://form.jotform.com/242834269469066 and send it to [email protected]. The deadline for submissions is Monday, October 21st, 2024.
Additionally, to order a wreath for placement at the cenotaph, please contact the Legion at 705-428-3809.
