Singer Amy Ellsworth will perform “Remembering the Good Times” at 2 pm Sunday, March 6 at the Betty Strong Encounter Center. Admission will be free; a reception will follow.
Ellsworth has performed in rock bands for over 30 years before breaking out as a solo artist in 2017. She loves playing the songs everyone remembers as well as sprinkling in a few of her own original tunes throughout her programs.
The event is part of a “Fine Arts Series” sponsored in part by a Humanities Project Grants through the Iowa Arts Council/Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.
The Center comprises a private, non-profit cultural complex built and sustained by Missouri River Historical Development, Inc. (MRHD).
