This event made in part by the Center for Native American Youth under the Remembering Our Sisters (ROS) Fellowship is a virtual storytelling and digital arts program that provides a platform for young Indigenous women and femme-identifying leaders to honor our relatives. You can read more about the fellowship here: https://www.cnay.org/remembering-our-sisters/As an 2024 ROS Fellow, I chose to create a series of art paintings that I will be auctioning off at this event. There will be other pieces of artwork donated by local artists also being auctioned off. All funds will be donated to the Snowbird Fund which directly supports community searches for missing Indigenous people in Montana: https://mtcf.org/giving/our-funds/snowbird-fund
There will also be community organizations and resources available to get you registered to vote, enrolled in a self defense course & more. Come show your support and learn more about the Missing & Murdered Indigenous People movement and how you can be part of the solution. All are welcome!
