Denise Kelly Wright Los
April 24, 1962 – February 9, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Kelly Wright Los, who left us peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of February 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer that spanned nearly three years. Denise was born on April 24, 1962, to Florence Redgrove and Laurence Wright.
Denise is lovingly remembered by her Aunt Loralei, her older brother Allan, and her younger siblings Tammy and Terry. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wim, their four children: David, Shelbie, Jericka, and Cassie, and her eight beloved grandchildren: Emaly, Daniel, Payten, Grace, Mackenzee, Parker, Trinity, and Elaine.
Denise was a true force of nature, known for her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, and unwavering determination. Diagnosed with breast cancer, she embraced the fight with a fierce will to live. Even through the toughest moments, she maintained a sense of humor and positivity, inspiring all who knew her with her strength and resilience.
Her family will be hosting a drop-in outdoor memorial service on May 25, 2025, under the Gazebo in Ellwood Park, Abbotsford, to celebrate Denise's life and the lasting impact she had on everyone she encountered. *Please note that this is only the memorial service and the interment is a separate event that is being kept to family only.*
**The family would like it known that this will be a potluck style get-together and would like to celebrate Denise with food and laughter. Bring your favorite dish to share stories about Denise around, or maybe a dish you once shared a memory with Denise with.**
The family kindly requests donations be made to Holmberg House(in Denise's name!!!), where Denise spent the final six months of her life. The staff's compassion, love, and care meant the world to Denise and her family, and they wish to honor the incredible work they do.
Denise’s love, laughter, and unyielding spirit will remain with us forever. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
