A Concert in Memory of the Night of Broken GlassIn collaboration with Reawakening Suppressed Music
On the anniversary of the tragic events of Kristallnacht, this concert commemorates the night when, following years of systemic oppression, the German government incited its population to violently attack its own marginalised Jewish minority. This atrocity marked the beginning of an era that saw the horrific loss of millions of lives and the destruction of a rich cultural heritage.
Presented by conductor Shelley Katz and featuring the innovative Symphonova, the program revives silenced and lost orchestral works. Come celebrate the enduring power of music and honour the voices that were suppressed.
