Dear all Local Sanghas and spiritual siblings,October 11th is the Continuation Day of our beloved Teacher, Thầy (Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh). Although our Teacher no longer is with us in form, we know that he is still very much present within each of us and in every manifestation of life. In order to illuminate the awareness of his unborn and undying nature, and to make it convenient for everyone to attend, Tào Khê Mindfulness Practice Center will be organizing a weekend gathering on Saturday and Sunday, October 11th and 12th, 2025.
We welcome all Sanghas to join us in this special occasion to cultivate our togetherness. It is Thầy's deepest joy to see his disciples and students coming together to cultivate siblinghood. That is our greatest gift for Thầy. We invite and encourage all Sanghas to come for at least the Saturday — Thầy's official Continuation day, where we will enjoy a be-in and hear stories from one another. We will have the opportunity to share how Thầy and his life has touched us and how the practice continues to show up in our everyday lives through music, poetry, stories and other creative expressions during the retreat.
The detailed schedule of the two-day gathering will be announced later.
Once again, Tào Khê Mindfulness Practice Center warmly invites you to join us, and together we light the candle of mindfulness, and express our deep gratitude and love for our Teacher.
