REMbrandt are a 100% live tribute band celebrating the popular and sometimes obscure music of the American rock band R.E.M. In their 31 year career, ending in 2011, R.E.M. sold over 85 million records worldwide with hits such as “Losing My Religion”, “Man On The Moon “, “Everybody Hurts”, “The One I Love”, “What’s The Frequency Kenneth?” and “Shiny Happy People”.
The band now also performs authentic covers of songs which REM themselves covered, by artists such as Iggy Pop, U2, Creedence Clearwater Revival, David Bowie and Neil Young.
REMbrandt take a look at those entire 31 years and attempt to do justice to the band’s music. The band was drawn from a selection of Sussex and Hampshire musicians with over 50 years of gigging experience between them at all levels, and all with a passion for the band and the music.
