This is more than just a ceremony, it’s a sacred community space where we will drink ceremonial-grade cacao, a gentle yet powerful plant medicine that has been revered by Indigenous Mesoamerican cultures for centuries. The Mexica (Aztecs) considered cacao sacred, a gift of the gods, and used it in ceremony to open the heart, connect with spirit, and bring people together in unity.
Why Cacao?
Cacao is the raw fruit seed from which chocolate (xocolatl) is made. Unlike commercial chocolate, ceremonial-grade cacao is minimally processed to preserve its natural compounds, making it a potent ally for heart-opening and emotional release.
Drinking cacao in this way can:
Awaken creativity and intuition
Foster a sense of love, joy, and peace
Expand awareness and support emotional healing
Boost mood naturally by releasing serotonin and endorphins

What to Expect in This Ceremony:
Together, we’ll create a nurturing space for personal growth and spiritual exploration. You’ll release what no longer serves you and align with what you wish to bring into 2026. This is a heart-centered experience designed to help you set intentions, invite clarity, and move forward with purpose...all supported by the gentle, heart-opening energy of cacao.
Guided practices will weave together meditation and guided visualizations, medicine songs and sounds, symbolic healing rituals, and practices inspired by Mesoamerican wisdom. You’ll drink sacred cacao to support heart-opening, and share in community to witness and be witnessed.
By combining these practices with the natural effects of cacao, you’ll be guided into deeper states of relaxation, self-awareness, release, and renewal.

Dress Code
Come exactly as you are. For your comfort, we recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing such as a flowy dress, long skirt, or other breathable options. Natural fabrics like cotton are wonderful, and light colors are ideal for this type of gathering, but none of this is mandatory. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and at ease. Whether you come dressed casually or choose to dress up, you are welcome. Please note: we will be removing our shoes during the ceremony.
What to Bring
Yoga mat : for sitting or laying down comfortably
A cushion : to support you during seated practices
A sacred item: something meaningful to you that represents your spirituality. This will be placed in the center of our circle. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else, what matters is that it carries meaning for you. Examples: an image, statue, natural object, crystal, or any item you feel called to bring.
An offering to the land : a small, natural gift to honor the spirit of the land (examples: fruit, seeds, herbs, stones, flowers, legumes). This offering will stay with the land as part of our gratitude ritual.
An open heart and a sense of curiosity : your presence and intention are the most powerful things you can bring.
Remember, the greatest preparation is simply arriving with openness and willingness to connect with yourself, the circle, and the energy of cacao.

Date: Saturday, January 10, 2026
Time: Arrive at 4:30 PM for a warm meet & greet and smudge. Ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM (doors will close at this time). We will finish around 8:00 PM, though the closing may flow with the group’s energy. (plan accordingly)

About Your Guide
This ceremony will be lovingly facilitated by me, Fernanda Odum, spiritual medium, Reiki Master, and practitioner of Curanderismo and ancient Mesoamerican traditions. Born in Mexico, I carry a deep connection to the ancestral wisdom and spiritual practices of my culture. My passion is to guide others in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, releasing what no longer serves, and embracing their personal power.
It is my honor to hold this sacred space for you, a space of liberation, heart opening, and renewal. Together, we will step into the magic of community, balance, and love.
