Release & Rise – Fascia Awakening & Ecstatic Dance JourneyCambridge | 4-hour guided movement & dance experience
A welcoming, community-based 4-hour journey to release tension, reconnect with your body, and move with greater freedom and ease.
This session blends fascia-informed movement, somatic practices, breathwork and an Ecstatic Dance wave, creating a supportive space to unwind the nervous system and awaken vitality.
What to Expect
We begin with gentle fascia exploration inspired by Anatomy Trains (Tom Myers), helping you sense where your body holds tension and ease.
Through:
Yin-inspired poses, spirals and playful animal-based movement
Simple breathwork tools for grounding, energy and emotional balance
Somatic practices to calm the nervous system
…you’ll be guided to release and hydrate connective tissue, building awareness and resilience in an accessible way.
Fascia & Emotions
Fascia is not only structural — it also holds emotional patterns and lived experience.
This workshop offers a safe, embodied way to release what words alone can’t reach, through movement, breath and presence.
Tea Break & Optional Face Paint Ritual
Midway, we pause for tea, rest and connection.
Those who wish may take part in a simple face paint ritual — a symbolic moment to mark intention, transition and renewal.
Ecstatic Dance Wave
The second half flows into a free-form Ecstatic Dance journey, supported by a carefully curated musical arc — from grounding and release, through expansion, into stillness and integration.
No steps to follow
No right or wrong way to move
Just authentic expression in a held, respectful space
Closing Integration
We close with guided relaxation, breath and a 20-minute gong bath, allowing body and mind to settle and integrate.
