Release and Rebalance - Equinox Chakradance & Soundbath

An invitation to celebrate the time of harvest at the Autumn Equinox. An invitation to release the tensions of the times and reconnect to the balance and harmony within.
Equinox his a time of balance, of threshold - on one hand we are surrounded by the abundance of the fruits, we are full of the sun's warmth and light and the rich life of the earth, the harvest of the journey of the year. On the other we are feeling the shorter days, the chillier nights, the energy the plants is stored in the seeds and fruit - and waning now in leaf and flower, a turning in has begun.
We are invited to a similar process in ourselves - on one hand to harvest and deeply drink of the fruits of our summer journeys, weaving them in and letting ourselves start to digest them, and simultaneously to prune and let fade the activities of Summer, to start to turn our attention within, find our ground and root deeply into the earth for the coming darkness.
This year Equinox falls on a solar eclipse and new moon. This is a potent time for release and reorientation. A great time to drop into body and let things move.
We will begin with Ceremonial Cacao, who opens our hearts to ourselves and our deeper knowing.
Chakradance invites us into a liminal space of connection to the parts of us that speak through body and imagination. We will spiral in to the Heart - drawing the rich harvest into each level of being through movement, imagination and sound. Inviting a release of what is ready to fall away, or what is resisting the richness of the times, at each level.
It is an internal journey for the most part, a space for you to be where you are and do what is needed in each moment. We let our bodies take the lead and no one is watching so we can allow movement (or stillness) as it arises from within move out through us.
We engage with the archetypal energies of the chakra system through our imaginations - dancing as or with the elements, sound, light and universe - an experience that is akin to a waking dream at times. We often feel woven in, connected and alive in new ways after this journey.
The soundbath is for integration. The geometry that the sounds carry clarifies the patterns that underlie the structure of body and being - leaving a sense of peace and balance in the fullness of being that solstice calls forth.
There are no requirements or rules - move as much or a little as you feel to - this is space for you to be and be held.
Bring sheepskin/mat/ blankets and other cosy things for the sound bath. Journal if you like to.
I have been facilitating Chakradance for over ten years, and working the energy system for over 20 and qualified in sound for 6. I am fully qualified and insured.
