Despite the name, Relay For Life isn’t a race—it’s an inspiring festival of hope. It’s a celebration to honor cancer survivors, to thank caregivers, to remember those lost, and to help fund a cure for cancer. Our event will include music, games, prizes, food, and fun for the entire family. There will also be a very moving luminaria ceremony at sunset. Unlike some other events, Relay For Life is for those affected by any type of cancer, and the American Cancer Society is rated 4/4 stars by Charity Navigator.
Our event is a celebration for the whole community, so we hope you’ll join us! By participating, you’ll help show support for all those who’ve been affected by cancer.
There are multiple ways to get involved:
• Register individually or as a team, raise money, or easily donate at https://www.relayforlife.org/charlottenc
• Become an event sponsor and/or donate goods or services
• Volunteer individually or as part of a group (before, during or after the event)
• Help spread the word in our community by encouraging others to attend
• Mark your calendars and join us at the Relay For Life of Charlotte on September 21st!
