Relaxshop for ParentsThis idea came to me two years ago.
Instead of yet another parenting workshop on “how to be better,” what if you could get the well-deserved rest, relax, connect, and simply feel better?
To create this, I had to admit to myself that parenting is a full-time job (especially homeschooling) —one that can easily lead to burnout. All those picture-perfect images of happy parents? They’re far from real life.
Hi, my name is Tanya Zaytseva. I’m a mom of two and a group somatic coach. I lead groups, organize festivals in San Diego, and host women’s gatherings.
For the past two years, I’ve been exploring different techniques and practices specifically for these gatherings: Authentic Relating, Trauma Theater, Somatic Practices, Polyvagal Practices (designed by Deb Dana), Self-Awareness Practices, and the IFS approach—to make sure they truly help.
Last January, I hosted an online group for parents.
On March 10, I’m bringing this experience offline for the first time, creating a space where you can exhale, step beyond your parenting role, release tension, and reset. No advice. No pressure. Just you, your sensations, and practices that will help you return to your kids and life with more ease.
This will be a gathering with other parents, where you’ll realize that your struggles are completely normal and shared by many. You’ll find it easier to deal with parenting guilt and shame—and simply notice the joy and privilege of being a parent.
