About this Event
Tight muscles, back pain, hunched shoulders, stress, anxiety, insomnia... who doesn't suffer from one or the other these days?
This class will teach you to slow down and tune in to your body, and it's designed to relax you:
- grounding, breathing exercises
- light and easy flow sequences
- softening stiff muscles
- soft twists, yin yoga style poses
- shoulder, back, and hip tension release
- small group, safe environment
Wear comfortable clothes, stretchy or relaxed fit. Cozy socks and 'onion' layers if you tend to get cold easily :-) Bring a bottle of water if you'd like.
ABOUT ME:
Hi, my name is Ola and I'm a fitness instructor and PT since 2018 :-)
As a passionate trainer, I continually expand my knowledge, and in 2023, I became a certified yoga instructor - and I'm still amazed how powerful and helpful slowing down to breathe & stretch is!
Union of the body and mind - taught through yoga - is something that weights and cardio training will never replace.
I believe that learning how to release stress through movement and breath is a missing element to feeling better and also changing body composition - especially helpful with losing belly fat ;-)
I also love teaching classes such as HIIT, boot camps, indoor cycling, kickboxing, BodyPump, and more! (except for Zumba and step, coordination was never my strong suit ;D )
My main focus as a PT is the right technique, functional movements, and helping you to find exercises and activities you will enjoy, not to treat workouts as a punishment!
