An invitation for those living with dementia, their carers and families to join us for a dementia-friendly screening in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are £4 available from Billericaycine.com/movie/singingrain Doors open at 2:30pm with the film at 3pm.
Primary carers and professional care staff go free thanks to sponsorship from Tyler Estates. You only need tickets for your loved one and any family and friends.
Lights will be slightly higher, the volume a little lower and it's perfectly acceptable for guests to talk or move around if needed.
We have an interval half way through the film.
There is also free tea and coffee (thanks to Gateway 97.8 FM) - and we've plentiful supplies of delicious home made cake (just £1 for a generous slice) and other fairly priced soft drinks and snacks.
Drop-offs can be made at the Chantry Centre, however, there is no general parking; the Iceland car park is nearby on the High Street.
All are welcome - whether you are caring for someone living with dementia or just want a little company on a Sunday afternoon.
