Come join us at Gosforth Civic Theatre for a Relaxed Screening of the beloved classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar! This bitesize screening features 5 classic short animated tales:

• In THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR, a tiny caterpillar eats and eats…and eats his way through the week.
• In PAPA, PLEASE GET THE MOON FOR ME, a young girl asks her father for the moon, but Papa discovers that the moon is very, very big.
• THE VERY QUIET CRICKET is about a cricket who finally finds his voice
• THE MIXED-UP CHAMELEON learns an important lesson about being himself.
• I SEE A SONG invites audiences on a magical musical journey. But can you really see a song?

This event is designed to be a relaxed and inclusive experience for disabled and neurodivergent audiences, their family, friends and supporters. It is open to anyone who is accepting of audiences with a range of access requirements. Enjoy the timeless tale of a caterpillar's journey to becoming a beautiful butterfly in a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to see you there!

During this screening:

• The lights will stay on at a low level
• The volume will be a bit lower
• You can move around and make some noise if you need to
• There will be a chill out space if you need to take a break
• The film will have English Language Descriptive Subtitles
• No ads or trailers but a 2 minute film about how Relaxed Screenings work will be screened just before the film
