Find your calm — soft stretches, deep breaths, and a few flurry-eared visitors
About this Event

Breathe deeply, stretch softly, and let the bunnies set the pace. In this relaxation yoga class, our floppy-eared friends may hop by or flop nearby as you sink into stillness. Afterward, you’ll be invited to meet them more closely and discover a little about their everyday care.

Tickets are $30 per person and includes;

  • a 60 minute relaxation yoga session
  • connection time with the bunnies with a peak at the bunny room, hand feeding opportunities, and a chance to learn about these sweet creatures
  • something from the produce stand to take home

*Bring your own yoga mat or ask to borrow one of ours!

What to Expect

Yoga with Bunnies takes place on our farm in a bright, open-concept workshop. Guided by yoga instructor Tova, from Reframe Family Yoga, participants will enjoy a gentle class focused on choice and self acceptance. Throughout the class, our farm bunnies are free to visit your mat, nibble treats, or hop and flop nearby.

After yoga, you’ll be invited to hand-feed the bunnies and spend a few minutes connecting with them in their bunny room.

Yoga with Bunnies is different from goat yoga or puppy yoga.
Bunnies are prey animals, which means they connect in softer, quieter ways. When a bunny chooses to hop by your mat, flop nearby, or even nibble a leafy green we’ve placed for them, it’s a gentle gift—not something we can (or want to) force. If a bunny decides to approach you during class, it’s a special moment.

This makes bunny yoga calmer, more mindful, and often more introspective than other animal yoga experiences. The best way to “make a bunny friend” is by focusing on your own yoga practice. Loud or unpredictable movements will cause the bunnies to retreat, while stillness and presence invite them closer.

For this reason, bunny yoga is best suited for adults and young people who are genuinely interested in yoga and able to enjoy the mindfulness aspect of the practice.

Quick Comparison

🐇 Bunny Yoga

  • Atmosphere: Calm, serene, and restorative
  • Interaction: Subtle—bunnies may hop, flop, or curiously nibble nearby
  • Focus: Your yoga practice comes first; bunnies enhance mindfulness
  • Energy Level: Quiet and peaceful, ideal for unwinding

🐐 Goat Yoga

  • Atmosphere: Playful and lively
  • Interaction: Goats climb, nudge, and get into mischief
  • Focus: More about fun with the animals than traditional yoga
  • Energy Level: High-spirited, social, and entertaining

🐶 Puppy Yoga

  • Atmosphere: Heartwarming and affectionate
  • Interaction: Puppies jump, lick, and tumble around
  • Focus: Playful bonding with puppies alongside light yoga
  • Energy Level: Vibrant, joyful, and interactive

In summary:
If you’re seeking calm, quiet, and a deeper yoga practice with the possibility of gentle bunny interactions, this is the experience for you. If you’re looking for lively antics and playful chaos, goat or puppy yoga might be a better fit.

Our Bunny-Led, Consent-Based Approach

At Blue Dot Acres, respect for animals is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that meaningful connections happen when animals are free to make their own choices. That’s why bunny yoga looks very different from goat or puppy yoga—it’s not about picking up or snuggling bunnies, but about inviting them to join us on their own terms.

When you arrive, you’ll set up your mat in our open, airy space. Once class begins, the bunny room door is opened—this is their invitation. Some bunnies may hop over, nibble, or flop nearby; others may choose to stay in their safe space. Both choices are respected.

Why does this matter? Bunnies are prey animals—sensitive, cautious, and deeply aware of their surroundings. When they decide to approach you during yoga, it’s not because they were placed in your lap or coaxed—it’s because they feel safe. That choice is powerful. It helps children and adults alike understand that real trust is built, not taken. In many ways, it mirrors the lessons of yoga itself: patience, presence, and respect for boundaries.

During class, simply stay with your practice. If a bunny comes to you, enjoy the moment quietly—some like gentle pats while eating, while others prefer space. A bunny flopping beside you is a sign of deep comfort, a gift we never take for granted. At the end of class, we’ll gather any leftover greens so you can hand-feed the bunnies if they wish.

This approach ensures that the experience stays calm, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone—humans and bunnies alike. For us, this class is more than just an event. It’s a way of teaching consent, mindfulness, and care in a world that often overlooks the quieter voices.

This is Ringo. We think he is dapper, chill, and charming. He is often one of the first to join the yoga room. He loves to explore and eat the treats before the other bunnies build up the courage to check things out.
