She helps burned-out depleted givers feel good again so they can give and lead from a place of fullness. She's spoken for TEDxDetroit, Meeting Professionals International, The Purpose Summit, DisruptHR, The Michigan Bankers Association, and many others. In the months to come, Robin looks forward to speaking about choosing joy at a nonprofit conference in South Africa. She’s been interviewed in TIME Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Psychology Today. Her #1 book, Messy Joy: How Joy Can Begin Before Your Difficulties End, helps readers know how they can find joy in their lives despite their circumstances. An ICF-certified life coach, Robin has served as a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders treatment, youth pastor and developer of two vibrant youth programs, and activity director for seniors with dementia. She’s a board member of the National Speakers Association of Michigan.

For over 25 years, Dr. Terry L. Parks has worked with children, adults, couples, and families through such facilities as juvenile centers, group homes, residential treatment facilities, and prisons. He began private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2015.
Villas By The Sea is the host resort. Group rates for your mini studio, one, two or three bedroom villa, all equipped with a full kitchen, range from $152 to $287, plus taxes, depending on the view (Island side, oceanside or Oceanview), and are ideal for roommate accommodations! 2-night minimum stay.
Deadline for reservations is September 10, 2024 so hurry and book your rooms! A Deposit equal to 1-night room charge is due at time of reserving. Reservations can be made by calling 912-635-2521 and mention Group Code “548013”. Group rates are only available by phone. Reservations cancelled less than 3 days prior to arrival will forfeit deposit. Hotel Check-in begins at 4:00 pm and Hotel Check out is no later than 11:00am. Group rate is good 3 days prior and 3 days after conference dates.
Early bird pre-registration is $195.00 per person until August 15, 2025. After that, registration increases to $245.00. The registration fee includes Friday and Saturday evening meals, materials and more.
