Intentional connection with the woods, creek, and creatures on this land is powerful. Forest Therapy, also called Forest Bathing, experiences deepen your relationship with yourself and nature by helping you explore interbeing through mindfulness and bodyfulness. They are slow and sensory.Heart-based Relational Forest Therapy™ focuses on rebuilding relationships with the More-Than-Human World as a foundation for healing people and planet.
We begin with a 15 minute guided meditation and end with tea that I've locally harvested. There are several opportunities to process and be known through Listening circles (sitting or standing). We walk less than 1/2 mile. This structured sequence is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, ‘forest bathing.' This is an amazing way to feel alive and co-create with the land life!
Relational Forest Therapy™ can help you remember who you are. You were born to take your place in the great work unfolding every day, everywhere.

“Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, ‘forest bathing.’ Studies have demonstrated a wide array of health benefits, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, and improving mood and cognition. We build on those benefits and look beyond, to what happens when people remember that we are a part of nature, not separate from it, and are related to all other beings in fundamental ways." ~Association of Nature and Forest Therapy
