13th Annual Reindeer Run – Dec. 6 in Downtown HammondThe Reindeer Run—presented by Davie Shoring—returns with a chip-timed 5K and a 1-mile fun run/walk through the heart of historic Downtown Hammond. It’s one of the most festive traditions of the Christmas season.
All participants, whether running the 5K or walking the 1-mile, will receive a custom finisher medal. A favorite for experienced runners, families, and everyone in between, the Reindeer Run brings our community together in the spirit of the season.
Strollers are welcome, including jogging strollers. Children in strollers don’t need to be registered unless you’d like them to receive a medal as well.
Packet pickup
• Friday, Dec. 6, from 12–6 p.m. at Perfectly Fit (303 W. Minnesota Park Rd, Suite E, Hammond)
• Race day pickup begins at 7 a.m. in Cate Square
Race day schedule
• 1-mile fun run: 8:00 a.m.
• 5K: immediately after the last 1-mile runner finishes (approximately 8:30 a.m.)
After crossing the finish line, enjoy a holiday-themed after party in Cate Square Park.
Free parking is available throughout Downtown Hammond, including the parking mall just a short walk from the starting line.
