“Reimagining the Concrete Jungle: Embracing the Resurgence of Blue Zones” is a must-attend event happening at the New York Botanical Garden.

Join us for an exploration into NYC’s landscape history with Eric W. Sanderson Vice President for Urban Conservation Strategy at the New York Botanical Garden and author of Mannahatta: A Natural History of New York City in conversation with artist and journalist Nathan Kensinger who has been whose work explores the building of flood protection around NYC among other things.
The conversation will focus on how New York's ecological history informs the current and future areas that flood from heavy rain events, and strategies to adapt to living with more water.
