Connecting Play to Human Potential
At Play Seriously, we combine the art of LEGO SERIOUS PLAY with the principles of Positive Psychology to help individuals and teams unlock insight and growth.
With significant corporate experience across various industries, our facilitators understand the realities of leading, aligning, and driving change in complex environments. We are certified facilitators of the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method, as well as professionally trained counsellors.
Our workshops weave the evidence-based practices of Positive Psychology with the creative flow of play, offering an experience that’s playful, thought-provoking - and deeply human.
Garland Mak
With over 18 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, and leadership development, Garland has worked with organizations and teams to strengthen collaboration, creativity, and purpose. Holding Master’s degrees in Counselling and Design Strategies, he integrates strategic thinking with human insight to help people and organizations connect passion with performance through LEGO SERIOUS PLAY and experiential learning.
Linda Loh
With over 16 years of experience in consulting and strategic planning, Linda has advised senior executives and government leaders on growth and strategy across diverse sectors. Combining an Executive MBA from INSEAD with qualifications in Psychotherapy and Counselling, Linda brings both strategic insight and psychological depth to helping individuals and teams navigate challenges, unlock potential, and thrive.

Discover Who You Are
This workshop draws inspiration from Ikigai, the Japanese concept that represents the intersection of what we love, what we are good at, what the world needs, and what we can be valued for. For professionals, Ikigai offers a powerful lens for exploring career purpose more holistically - clarifying what drives fulfillment and how it relates to potential career choices.
Guided by the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method, participants will engage in a series of hands-on, minds-on activities that invite them to reflect on four dimensions of work:
- Passion: Exploring moments that energize and inspire them.
- Strength: Recognizing personal capabilities and talents.
- Contribution: Understanding the difference they want to make.
- Value: Translating personal strengths into professional impact.
Participants will build LEGO models, share their creations with each other, and reflect on the meanings behind them. This process helps professionals step back from routine and view their career with new perspectives.
