The Queens Borough Presidents Office, with the support of Rise Light & Power, is working on a planning study, called Reimagine Ravenswood, for the Ravenswood Generating Station site and the neighborhood around it. The Study is supported by Rise Light & Power, the site owner, and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. The aim of the study is to help the community plan for and benefit from the Ravenswood Generating Station’s transition from a fossil fuel plant to a renewable energy hub.
The goal of this workshop will be to get resident input on the different ways that parts of the Ravenswood Generating Station site can be reused to connect the neighborhood to the waterfront and serve community needs.
Light food and drink will be provided.
