Reiki is a Japanese method of energy healing that has been practiced for hundreds of years. Reiki is one form of Energy Medicine among many other energetic practices that have been used by many cultures throughout time.
This class is taught using the original intent and ideals of Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. Topics include connecting to the frequency of Reiki energy using basic Reiki breath and meditation techniques, beginning energy field scanning, and self-healing hand positions. Basic techniques for grounding and protection are also introduced. During this workshop, students will gain a thorough understanding of the principles of self-healing, the Reiki attunement, and the twenty-one-day cleanse process. Students will become First Degree Reiki Practitioners and earn a Reiki Level I Certificate upon completion of this class.
