Reiki Level 1 Training in Tartu, Estonia Reiki Level 1 course in the English language at the weekend of 11 and 12 December with an atrtunement ceremony, Reiki basics, energy exercises, learning Reiki self-healing and preparing to give Reiki to one's family and friends. On the 21 days following the course, the students will practice Reiki, triggering a cleanse process.
Reiki (pronounced ray-key), simply translated from Japanese, means spiritual energy.
It is a holistic, light-touch, energy-based healing modality, introduced by Mikao Usui in Japan during the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Today, Reiki has been expanded and diversified under various names, but we continue to teach the original three level format known today as Usui Shiki Ryoho.
Reiki energy is universal life force energy that comes from an all-encompassing creative source that everything is made from (including the animal kingdom, plant kingdom, mineral kingdom and all inanimate objects) and it is an extremely powerful healing energy.
Reiki re-establishes a normal flow of life-force energy (Ki/Chi/Prana) within the body to heal all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Our physical body is sensitive to the energy of thoughts and emotions. When we experience negative feelings or thoughts about ourselves, develop negative thought patterns and beliefs, or experience a physical or emotional shock, this affects our energy field, creating emotional and physiological blockages that eventually disrupt our health.
Reiki frees and aligns the body’s energy system, which in turn releases pain on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Reiki aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation and it restores energy balance and vitality by relieving the physical and emotional effects of unreleased stress.
It gently and effectively opens blocked meridians (energy pathways) and chakras (energy centres) and clears the energy bodies, leaving you feeling relaxed and at peace.
Reiki is simple and provides measurable results – in essence, it is power, light and love.
No matter where you may be at a certain point in your life, Reiki will harmonize and embrace your philosophical beliefs and add to your own divine presence.
Once you are attuned to Reiki through initiations, you are permanently linked to Reiki universal energy without the need of conscious alteration of your mind (E.g. through meditation, prayer or imaging/visualization).
Simply by placing your hands (fingers together) on yourself or on another person, allows the energy to flow from the universal source through your body and out through your hands into your client or self.
Reiki is one of the few forms of healing modalities that can be used by you to heal you.
Reiki does not conflict with other healthcare methods, but invariably enhances the results.
It does not interfere with conventional medical treatment, but facilitates the overall healing benefits. Reiki speeds the healing process and provides a source of restoring energy while a person is ill, under medical treatment or in recovery.
Reiki healing is a pure energy form and when it is combined with the sincere desire or focused intention of the client, a deep level of healing occurs on four levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and this manifests in their life as harmony and balance.
The Reiki curriculum traditionally offered, teaches three degrees or levels of traditional Reiki called Usui Shiki Ryoho (pronounced Ew-suey She-key Rye-oh-ho), a spiritual energy based healing method that uses unique symbols, which give each degree its own specific purpose. The Japanese translation of Usui Shiki Ryoho means Usui style healing.
With the “traditional” Reiki system the procedure is kept simple and other modalities such as additional Reiki symbols, chanting, gemstones, laser beaming or massage are not included.
First Degree (You Sense the Energy)
Reiki Level 1 (also called the 1st degree), is the foundation of all three levels.
This degree is permanent and remains with you during your entire life (even if you stop practicing Reiki) it cannot be reversed. Therefore, it is important that it is your decision to take the first degree and not allow someone else to decide on your behalf.
The main purpose of Reiki Level 1 is to learn about self-healing, which involves taking responsibility for your own health and well-being.
After completing Reiki Level 1, you may also heal others, as well as animals freely or by donation for non-professional purposes.
Through an attunement ceremony, you are initiated by a Reiki Master Teacher to Reiki. This helps you to facilitate and strengthen your connection to universal life force energy, allowing it to flow through you to raise your personal energy level. Source: Reiki 1 Manual by Margaret Jang
JK Reiki School is happy to introduce another Reiki Level 1 course in the English language, hoping to attract both English-language citizens of Estonia and Estonian-language people, who plan to move to foreign countries and may need the specific vocabulary and expressive language necessary to continue their Reiki studies or take part in Reiki shares in foreign countries.
The course will take place at the weekend of 11 and 12 December. On the first day, the students will be introduced and attuned to Reiki. They will learn the basics of Reiki philosophy, and the basic techniques of meditation and self-healing with Reiki.
On the second day, the group will study the ways of using Reiki in everyday life – room cleanse, programming crystals, removing undesired energies and stimulating desired energies. We will speak about Oriental human energy systems (channels, diamonds, chakras, bodies), meditate, visualize, breathe and give Reiki to sitting and lying course mates. Finally, everyone, who has participated on both days, will receive a certificate.
The first day (Saturday, 11 December) will last 6 hours, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the second day (Sunday, 12 December) will last 8 hours, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the middle of both days there will be an 1 hour lunchbreak. We encourage everyone to have vegan and gluten-free lunch together, we offer Japanese Miso soup, sushi with wasabi and soya souce or rice with vegetables and an organic oats/almond dessert for 7 €/lunch. Those who are allergic to soy or do not like Japanese food may bring their own packed lunch. Those, who live nearby or want to have a closer look at the city of Tartu may also go to have lunch in Karlova (the district surrounding the venue) or the city centre.
On the 21 days following the initiation, the students will practice Reiki self-healing, energy techniques and remind themselves of Reiki philosophy with 5 simple commandments. This will trigger a cleanse process, the intensity of which depends on everyone’s initial condition. Their bodies will release toxins and toxic residues, getting used to contain more light.
The course will take place in the district of Tartu called Karlova, at the address Saekoja 36a-310. https://www.google.ee/maps/place/Saekoja+36a,+50107+Tartu/@58.3632585,26.7267484,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb37257710181f:0x900d780b4d9e2afd!8m2!3d58.3632585!4d26.7289371
