Reiki is considered a complete system of holistic healing and personal development. Reiki is a traditional lineage based hands on healing practice used to bring health and balance to the mind, body and spirit. This ancient practice of using "Universal Life Force Energy' for self-healing, the healing of others, as well as the environment is passed down from teacher to student in a ceremonial way. Reiki can be used as a natural and alternative method of healing through therapeutic touch, meditation and prayer.
Reiki assists the practitioner to develop of a higher state of consciousness of holding space that can illuminate a deeper sense of sacred purpose through self realization and self actualization.
In Level 1 Reiki, we learn about the principals, history and lineage of Reiki as well as the hands on application. We will explore the Chakra system and how to bring balance the energetic bodies for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. We receive our first cleanse of the Chakra system for purification & a 21-day meditation practice to integrate the teachings to use Reiki as a daily practice.
Nicole (Maya Devi) is a Reiki Master Initiator Teacher who shares with us her wisdom and guidance as passed down to her from her teachers. Nicole Duran (Maya Devi) received her first Reiki initiation in 2002. In 2011, she became the owner and the director of Raise the Vibration Reiki Healing Studio in Arizona. Nicole has 24 years of experience working with several teachers and lineage based teachings to integrate the healing power of the symbols and their use.
