Introduction to Reiki, become attuned to the universal energy, learn how to give treatment to self and others and meet your Reiki guide.What to Expect:
This is the beginner class for Reiki. Where you will learn all about what Reiki is and where it comes from, and some of the history behind it. There will be a sacred attunement given for each level of Reiki and then the second half of the class is all hands on learning on how to give a Reiki session to oneself and to others, in person and from a distance. Hands on learning will include the protocol session set out by William Rand of the International Center of Reiki, as well as an intuitive approach session encouraged by your teacher, Jodi Jenks, ND.
Certified Class taught by Jodi Jenks, a Reiki master who has been practicing and teaching in Grand Rapids for over 25 years.
Class fee is $375. The fee includes a $50 deposit due at registration.

About Reiki:
We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
