Samantha Samway, Reiki Master energy healer, Hatha & Yin Yoga teacher

Samantha is a Reiki Master energy healer, intuitive and Yoga teacher who is originally from the Bahamas.

Her Reiki practice has had transformative results with a wide range of clients including aged care, cancer patients, clients struggling with physical pain, mental health issues, PTSD, anxiety and trauma. Samantha’s practice, Serenity Healing Wellness Centre is based in Sydney with an international client base. She runs Reiki/Yin workshops and Holistic Fitness workshops in Sydney.

Samantha has a particular interest in making Reiki & yoga accessible to groups from disadvantaged backgrounds especially in the aged care sector. She works for a non for profit organisation called Reclink Australia which provides programs to improve physical & mental health and create greater social inclusion.

She strongly believes in the power of collective healing for creating change & community connectivity.

Samantha will discuss:

1. The transformative power of Reiki and how it can be used as a complementary therapy to modern medicine.

2. Medical studies showing how Reiki helps to reduce post operative pain and improves symptoms in Cancer patients.

3. A brief history of Reiki, how Reiki works and she will give a visual demonstration of what happens during a Reiki session.

4. Making Reiki a more accessible complementary therapy in various settings.

5. How everyone has an innate ability to heal oneself and Reiki helps to activate this ability.
