Reiki is a Japanese healing modality used for relaxation, stress relief, and healing. The practitioner channels "life force energy from creator/universe/God" and transmits it to the client. If one's life force energy is low, a person may get sick, feel tired, or just feel unmotivated and stressed. If one's life force energy is high, he or she will likely be able to cope with life's challenges and stay happy and at peace no matter what is going on in their environment.
Reiki addresses all levels of health (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual), and works well in conjunction with any medical treatment, and is helpful and therapeutic for virtually all diseases. It is not a religion, but it is a spiritual practice that compliments any religion or faith to promote healing and relaxation. It is very safe, and has no known side-effects.
