Running is simple, until it isn’t. Upping your mileage or running in new terrain always brings increased risk of injury.
Join us for a morning session where we go through easy prehab routines to keep you on the trails, as well as some rehab exercises if you’re already nursing an injury.
Stay for the second half where we look at the mindset shift required when nursing an injury. Because when injury keeps you away from something you love, like running, the rehabilitation process is not just physical. You also need to recover from the psychological impact of injury so you come back to the sport ready to make appropriate choices that favour longevity over short term gains.
The session is led by Alekos Salter, body mechanic and performance enhancement specialist and Steph Maxwell, our resident expert on mindset.
