As the sun sets, join us for an enchanting Lantern Walk through our beautifully lit yard. Make and carry your own lantern and enjoy the magic of the evening!
5:30 *Magic Lantern Show*
Experience the wonder of a Magic Lantern Show performed by Dawn Elliott and Joel Schmelowitz, a traditional form of storytelling using hand-painted glass slides and projected images. Their show features fantastical tales, myths, and legends, brought to life with colorful illustrations and atmospheric music!!
A Magic Lantern Show is a captivating form of entertainment dating back to the 17th century. Magic lanterns were a popular form of storytelling and education. This show uses traditional techniques to educate viewers on the use and history the Magic Lantern, followed by a lantern show using hand chosen slides and storytelling & sound effects by Dawn and Joel. This is a wonderful & immersive experience for all ages!
