Downtown Harrisonburg’s Fourth Annual Gingerbread House Competition invites organizations and community members to get creative and showcase their confection-construction talents. We will have several prizes that will be awarded in the “Business or Organization” category (local businesses, nonprofit organizations, academic and social clubs, professional bakers) and “Community Members” category (individuals, families, roommates, etc.). Entries will be on display in the "Welcome to Gingerburg" Gingerbread House Gallery at Nest Realty (129 W Wolfe St), where the public will be invited to vote on their favorites during Winter Wonderfest on Saturday, December 7 from 12 - 6 PM!
Competition Timeline:
🍬 Deadline to register: Monday, December 2nd
🍬 Gingerbread house drop-off: Thursday, December 5th and Friday, December 6th from 9 AM – 6 PM at Nest Realty (129 W Wolfe St). Email [email protected] for an alternate date and time if the above drop-off time does not work for you
🍬 Display and public voting: Saturday, December 7th from 12 PM – 6 PM at Nest Realty (129 W Wolfe St)
🍬 Gingerbread House pick-up: Wednesday, December 11th through Friday, December 13th from 9 AM – 5 PM at Nest Realty (129 W Wolfe St). Entries not picked up by 5 PM on December 13th will be disposed of
